Our Leadership

The company is led by a lifelong automotive professional who has been part of the team since 2006. Starting right out of Harlem High School, they began working here early in their careers and gained hands-on experience in every aspect of the business. A graduate of Rock Valley College with a degree in Automotive Technology, their leadership is built on both formal education and years of real-world experience.


Working closely alongside founder Mike Vettore for many years provided invaluable mentorship and a deep understanding of what it takes to run a trustworthy, customer-focused repair shop. That foundation continues to guide how the business operates today—through honest communication, quality workmanship, and dependable service.


Today, the company remains committed to the same values that customers have relied on for decades, while continuing to evolve with modern tools, technology, and training. The focus is simple: provide reliable repairs, fair pricing, and the kind of service that builds long-term relationships.

Honoring the Founder

Mike Vettore founded the business in 2000 after more than 40 years in the automotive industry. While he is no longer the owner, his influence and standards remain part of the shop’s DNA. He still stops by from time to time, and his belief that every customer should feel like a friend continues to shape the experience.

Dan Davis
Owner of Autocare Vettore's Center
Dan Davis began his automotive career in 2006 after graduating from Harlem High School. He went on to earn his degree in Automotive Technology from Rock Valley College (RVC), building a strong technical foundation early in his career.


Dan has worked in the automotive industry ever since, gaining years of hands-on experience and technical expertise. Starting his career right out of high school, he developed a deep understanding of vehicle diagnostics, repair, and customer service, which continues to guide his work today. With a strong educational background and long-standing industry experience, Dan is committed to providing reliable, high-quality automotive service.

Jon Cramer

Service Specialist

Jon Cramer has been a valued part of the team since 2006, bringing nearly two decades of experience to his role as service specialist. Prior to joining the company, he worked with premium automotive brands, including Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz, where he developed a strong foundation in diagnostics, customer service, and precision repair.


Jon is a graduate of Universal Technical Institute, and his technical training, combined with real-world dealership experience, allows him to deliver reliable solutions and clear communication to every customer. His attention to detail and commitment to quality service play a key role in maintaining the standards our customers expect and trust.


Matthew Schultz
